C3 Institute, LLC is a counseling and consulting practice focusing on empowering self and relationships through Ecosystemic & Postmodern Inquiry.
C3 Institute's counseling and consulting practice, informed by ecosystemic philosophy, is based on the inherent value of all life. Ecosystemic philosophy engenders a deep, broad, empathic and integrative understanding of the uniqueness of clients' worldviews, backgrounds, environments, languages, and belief systems. Ecosystemic practice is based on respect for individual, familial, organizational and cultural differences. Ecological, systems, contextual, dialectical and postmodern thinking, as well as depth psychology, influence and shape C3 Institute's practice to help clients achieve fluid ways of perceiving, thinking, feeling, behaving and relating. These diverse philosophies -- collectively called Ecosystemic -- are integrative of clients’ multisystemic realities, and attempt to be transpersonal and transcultural in approach.
Multisystemic realities experienced in the ecosystem are constructed by self-observing and self-organizing members of society (e.g., individuals, families, groups, agencies, institutions, politicians, etc.), and by the ecosystem itself as a dynamic and complex ground to occupy, thrive, grow, transform, or self-destruct. The objective of my practice is to facilitate practical insights or meaningful interpretation(s) that are transformative for my clients and are beneficial to them, their relationships, and the ecosystem. The client-consultant interaction is dynamic, creative, dialectic, collaborative, and works toward a synergistic interaction and an interdependent relationship. Ecosystemic thinking and practice emerges from a belief in the inherent value and interdependence of all forms of being and reality. Thus, emphasis is on creative interactions rather than on techniques. Ecosystemic philosophy encourages a fundamental shift in (1) the way we think about our relationship with our environment and each other, (2) the way we experience nature and one another, (3) the way we relate to nature and each other, (4) the way we treat our environment and one another, and (5) how we respond to our environmental needs, crisis, and one another. As an Ecosystemic agency, C3 Institute is committed to: minimizing and whenever possible preventing any destructive interference with the rest of the natural world and human relationships; restoring the diversity and complexities of our ecosystems, including human communities; upholding the inherent value of all life; teaching of reverence for our habitat (earth) and relationships; and encouraging a heliocentric thinking with regards to relational practice among ourselves (i.e., we are all citizens of the earth, dependent on the sun's energy, and are related to one another).
